Profile - PETER SHEEHY

Peter has over 12 years experience in the Marine Industry both in Australia and overseas. He has worked in many roles from Deckhand/Ships Bosun to Rigger, First Mate, Engineer and finally Ships Captain & Engineer.

From 2000 to 2004 he worked abroad on private/charter yachts and racing Regatta's in the Antibes, Corsica, Italian & Sicilian Islands and the Mediterranean.

Having worked in the Whitsundays prior to going overseas, he returned to Airlie Beach, Australia in 2005 to start a family.

Peter has extensive local sailing knowledge around the Whitsunday Islands and holds a Marine Engine Driver III (MED III) Certificate as well as an Open Master Class 5 with STCW 95 Endorsement. He is also fully qualified in Senior First Aid and Safety procedures.
